Negima Lullaby

Anime: Mahou Sensei Negima
Song: Cold World Lullaby by Aetre (er, me.)

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=147974

I'm a complete and total newbie at this. So I started "small," in a sense (even though the video itself is pretty long for an AMV). The video is basically just four clips from episode 19 of Mahou Sensei Negima, in the same order they appear in the series, telling the story and flashback of Sayo. I happened to notice one day that the episode coincidentally synced up fairly well with a piano song I recorded a while ago, so there was very little actual hard editing needed in the video beyond cut and paste.

I tried to stop characters' mouths from moving during the few scenes where that's necessary. It worked a couple times, but the longer ones seem a bit awkward as stand-still moments, especially at the end.

Ah well; those are just my own thoughts. Any constructive criticism from the experts out there for this first-time AMV creator would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

its a keeper ^_^

I've never seen this Anime and the way you handled the scene's almost made me believe that you animated it yourself along with composing the music for it 8-)

yeah -- you've got some learning to do with raising the Bit Rate for the Video encoding &
yeah -- there was a little interlacing problem .. who cares!?!

Very nice story telling as it is ^_^

. at first I didn't catch-on that she was a ghost .. but what a nice way be discovered .. by someone who actually wanted to find you at that location 8-)

nice story telling ^_^

Thanks, heh. The story was the main part of it, obviously; I'm not yet at the level where I'll be doing the world's most amazing visual effects ever, so there had to be a sort of writing behind it.

Anyhow, glad you liked it!
