Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Gundam SEED Destiny AMV's (Please Look...)

Post by CCChang » Sun Jul 22, 2007 5:20 pm

Not sure if this is against the rules (forgive me please if it is), but there are two AMV's I haven't announced yet that I uploaded last week (it's not these I'm concerned about rule breaking), but I also have two AMV's I've announced before but never really got any feedback from anyone.

These two AMV's I really want some feedback one from the Org Members (none have given me any) and I would like to know what you thought of it really (the fact that someone actually stole these two AMV's must give it some worth).

Title: Gundam SEED Destiny - Metal Gear SEED
Anime: Gundam SEED/Gundam SEED Destiny
Artist: Harry Gregson-Williams
Song: Metal Gear Solid 2 - Sons of Liberty Theme
Link: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=138866

Title: Gundam SEED Destiny - Boulevard of Broken Dreams Songs - Kira Vs Shinn
Anime: Gundam SEED Destiny
Artist: Green Day vs. Oasis vs. Travis
Song: Boulevard of Broken Dreams Songs
Link: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=138870

Again, really sorry if it's against the rules to reannouce, but again, I really want some feedback from Org Members. Please don't be fooled by the WMV format they are saved in. They are actually made in Premiere when I was pretty much still a noob with Compression and all that technical stuff, and I had to save them the way they are now (they're actually very good quality).

These next AMV's are the new ones I haven't announced yet. I didn't upload them before because I thought they weren't really Org material, but several friends say they were (one was actually stolen as well), so I uploaded them now.

Title: Gundam SEED Destiny Opening
Anime: Gundam SEED Destiny
Artist: Orange Range
Song: Asterisk
Link: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=147298

Title: Gundam SEED Destiny - Breaking The Habit
Anime: Gundam SEED Destiny
Artist: Linkin Park
Song: Breaking The Habit
Link: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=147303

Whether you are a Gundam fan or not, please watch the first one (Metal Gear SEED) as it is the best AMV I think I will ever make and is the one I really want Org Members to recognise me with. Everyone whose seen Metal Gear SEED gave me a perfect rating and I want to know what you think of it.

Thank you and sorry again if I'm breaking the rules by reannouncing.

Actually this type of thread is perfectly acceptable in the Opinion Exchange forum, as long as your willing to offer your opinion in exchange.

In the mean time, if I have time I will give it a look over.

takes a look aaaat #2

Ok I haven't heard that version/mix of the song.
Didn't like the bit with them talking in it sounded too contrived.
Also too much overlaying in the second half.
AR was inconsistant and off in some scenes, visual needed heaps of cleaning.
Sync and scene selection need some werk

But.

You can see your editing style forming under all that and there are some nicely synced moments, it also didn't focus solely on the two of them outta Mechs.
Has potential
new banzors in the making :p

It's best if you watch the first of the four. That one makes the one you watched look like a joke (I'm not kidding...).
