Instinct - Mushiuta (Aeri)
Just a little trailer-ish piece to the new anime Mushiuta. I needed a break from the action video I've been working on, and this did the trick. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to set up a Local link for it yet, because I had to enter Mushiuta as a new anime, and it hasn't been confirmed by the admins so far. But I've got a Direct link set up, and hopefully this will draw some attention to this interesting new series. Enjoy!

Ick, I noticed the interlacing too. When I was editing in Final Cut, it looked fine, but after I exported it...blech. And I'm working on a Mac, so all those pretty little programs the guides talk about don't help me any. I've been keeping my eyes open for some cheap (or even better, free) programs that I can use to clean up footage a little better, but haven't been having much luck. I'm glad the sync worked out (sometimes I get lazy, but I tried really hard here!), and I definitely plan on making a longer one in the future. Thanks!Kionon wrote:Interlacing plus poor compression was fail.

I have had little luck myself. I keep praying avisynth 3.0 will hurry up. Did you at least attempt deinterlacing with DiVa?Aeri wrote:Ick, I noticed the interlacing too. Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, there's not much to be said for something so short, but thanks for looking at it anyways. It's much appreciated.Prodigi wrote:Sums up my thoughts.Kionon wrote:Interlacing plus poor compression was fail.
Concept was good, sync execution was excellent. Needs to be longer.

Exactly!N0OB wrote:Quality issues aside this seems like a very interesting series. I might give it a bit more looking into. As far as trailers go isn't that their point?
Thanks, I'm glad I got that right, and it was a good moral boost on my part to get something finished (even though it was really short).N0OB wrote:I'm going to give this a 4/5, because for a trailer-ish video, it definitely served its purpose.
