After my second try, I was able to get into the AX AMV contest.

Bliss.

I didn't win though. There were other videos in that category that were a lot funnier than mine, and made me realise that this video would have done better in another category. Some say Drama, I say maybe AMtv...

I'm not sure if any comedy AMV from AX can beat the comedy of errors that was AX 2007, but I guess I'll give this one a shot.

Heh, I had an amusing image of 'Help' playing while Al was being taken away by the Gate, but your vid sounds like it will be much more entertaining. I'll watch your too! Who knew there would eb another Beatles/FMA combination somewhere!

I'm not a big FMA fan, but I actually liked this video quite a bit. The impression it left was more sentimental than comedic though.

omg, the series is spoiled for me now. wait...

edit: um, that wasn't a comedy amv. was it? that was a fun amv. I think theres a difference somewhere in all the technicalities... oh well. It was cute, fun, sentimental, and above average as far as FMA videos go. I wish you had done more with it though, to note specifically I'd say the bridge around the 1:10 sealed it for me not being comedic. You SO coulda sync'd stuff to the trumpets (horns are funny) but instead you used the children flashback scenes, which for me sealed it as being more sentimental than comedic.

I agree with those who are saying it's more sentimental than comedy, but i still loved it.

Is it really a sentimental AMV? Hm, I never even thought about it this way. I wonder if things would have faired a bit better if I had entered this vid in Drama rather than Comedy? All well, thanks for the feedback everyone!
