I finally finished my first AMV, and would really appreciate some honest feedback. I know it's not perfect, but I'm generally happy with the way it turned out.

That wasnt too bad. The quality of video and sound was good. I think your lyrical synch was dead on , but I think it was lacking somewhat in the synch with the beat of the song. Overall good job though

Quality: Probably the biggest negative point. AviSynth: love it, use it, crave it.
Sync: A lot of literal lyric sync which wasn't timed so well. If you cut right to a girl in her room when he sings, "alone," it doesn't really work. Think of it like thunder and lightning: the thunder anticipates the actual flash.
Editing: When there aren't any lyrics your clips seemed random. Make sure your movie is progressing to an actual point. On the same note, the song tells us she's an extraordinary girl, but I didn't feel like she was extraordinary. It's been a long time since I saw Eva, so I need a more comprehensive character profile.
Technical: If you're gonna use hard cuts the whole way through, at least cut them directly on a beat/note shift in the song. Otherwise, add some fades.
A lot better than most first AMVs. Keep it up.
