I think i did the link right.I'm new to all this, so be nice.
I won't be a total jerk, some would be. But I will be honest. I really felt that this had no synch to it at all, except for the punch at the very end. It would have been awesome to me in 1997, but there is a higher standard now. At the very least you could have chosen clips that synched to the lyrics, even if there weren't an aural beats. Or you could have ignored the lyrics completely, and synched the beats. Instead your cuts were mostly of equal time value and showed no relation whatsoever to the lyrics or the beats.Phade's Op Commentary wrote:Followed the "music + random scenes = video" blunder.
I diddn't use Windows movie maker, I used Sony Vegas 7.0. Also, I could have synched it better if I put more effort into it. I wasn't trying to make the best video I could. I was just passing time. Thanx for the input though.Kionon wrote:Also, although I've seen some decent stuff come out of WMM, you should really consider something else. It really is a program pretty much designed for turning home movies into DVDs or shareable clips. It is simply not designed from the get go to go where you want it to. Only a level of effort not shown in this video will allow you to use WMM to its fullest abilities. Go back to the project files on this one, making sure cuts synch up to something alone would make watching this much more enjoyable. Good luck.
...My apologies for my presumption based on container. I really have nothing further to say if you are "just passing time." I won't burden you with a lecture, it's unnecessary. So, instead, I offer the advice to consider keeping some of your learning projects to yourself, so that when you do feel you can do your best with the skills you have learned, you will wow us with your abilities.brandon286 wrote:I diddn't use Windows movie maker, I used Sony Vegas 7.0.
