Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

"War's Youngest Victims/soldiers"
I created my 2nd AMV and it's of the anime "Now and Then; Here and There".
It's done to the tune of "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath.
That being said, since it's "Now and Then; Here and There" it is clips from the last 2 episodes so it contains spoilers and some violent action (a little blood).
I read when I tried to upload this that violent video's aren't acceptable but I don't really consider this to be TOO violent. Although if it is and I'm banned as a result it was nice knowing you all LOL.
I left the subtitles in cause I think they added to the story of the video.

I was gonna upload this but I didn't want to break the site rules.

I uploaded it and I know I'm gonna catch flak for this video but oh well.
(One major improvement I need to work on is getting a conversion program so I can finally convert .mkv to avi so I can work with it.
Then I can make a lot of video's using my impressive DVD collection)

... Your friend is seriously, seriously misinformed.
If you pop in a DVD and check the files on it, you'll see that all the big, important ones are of type .VOB - that's for Video OBject. The video content is in MPEG-2 streams in those .VOB files.
MKV, on the other hand, is an open-source container format that can support all sorts of video codecs, multiple audio streams, subtitle streams, etc., but hasn't found much mainstream acceptance yet. If you have .MKV files on your computer and you didn't encode them yourself, that usually means they're fansubs (or recompressed DVD rips).
Look here for easy instructions on how to rip your DVDs.
