- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hey,
It seems that the file on the server is currupted. I downloaded it twice and both copies have the same problem. About the 12 second mark, the video freezes but the audio keeps going. Then after a second or two, the video continues from where it paused, but now the audio is ahead of the video, so the rest of the video is very out of sync. You might want to check it.

Considering the size of the viewing window for the AMV (I downloaded it myself), I think the problem is more of a common viewing problem in which the size of the screen and the current speed of the computer causes the audio to be a few seconds ahead of the video. My advice: either view the video from a different player i.e. the DivX player (a solution that is used in my anime club) or convert the video to .mpg, which doesn't have the lag problem the .avi may have (my solution).Phade wrote:Hey,

Hey TnAdct1,
But of the hundereds of AMVs I've downloaded and watched on this machine, this is the only one that has shown this type of problem. If the problem happened more than once in the video, I might think it was the plaery, but it happened just that one time. But, I went ahead and tried a different media player. Same problem, consistantly. Transcoding to mpg is just silly.

well its kinda weird, I d/l it off the site and played it on my divx player and it worked... I can't really play and divx or xvid on my wmp they all go outta sync/and or choppy, I think my computers just too old >_< I asked a few other ppl and they are having the same problem so I'll have to rencode it.
