Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Forgive the shameless plug of my AMVs, but I real wish more people to see them and comment. I value creative input from others to better hone my work to meet the expectations of the viewer.

Once again please forgive the bump back to the top. I only wish that my thread does not get lost to the bowels of the forum and that others might see it and find what treasres lay within.

Other people have threads too you know. You shouldn't think yours is somehow superior that you have the right to move it to the top of the pile :?

Ok, I've downloaded your Flcl vid. Note: You should name your files... AMV.wmv >.>;
If I had to give it a star ratio it would've been 1, sorry.
1: You use downloaded material, which evne has it's subs just showing.
2: The quality is just very very low, not only the vid, but also sound.
3: The video has no point. I thought it was going to have one when it started out with the girl, but that was gone after 15 seconds when it turned into an alloutrandomactionvidwithtoolesssyncing.
4: The video has little syncing, remember, even action vids need to be cut to match music, instead of using one clip that was exactly that way in the anime.
5: Don't use footage of people talking : / That's ment for lip syncing.

Even though the quality sucks, the first 3 cuts were promosing for a started vid, but that ended directly... Not trying to flame here, but there's no treasure at all within this : / You should check out the guide section on a-m-v.org...

If you are willing to return in kind, try starting an opinion exchange in the Opinion Exchange forum. Or reply to the existing threads there.

I'm on a self-imposed "no more Naruto AMVs" policy, so unfortunately I can't help you with that one. The FLCL one seems interesting, but subtitles kill it for me. If you ever get that one replaced with a DVD quality one, I'll give it a look.
