a winrar file.....
Common dude, not many people have that program, and seeing as how you appearently do, you didn't have to make a .rar file, winrar will also compress anything into a .zip file. I didn't download it for that reason alone under the fact I've seen it before, because I don't feel like installing another tedious program. You'll up downloads if you convert that file to a .zip

I don't see how it is so time intensive a task to get the program and install it. But then, maybe it is...I can't remember...

You don't exactly have to be a genious to understand what I typed in my message, maybe you should go back to high school so you can take english. It is a tedious program. It is a waste of space and slows down the machine. EVERY AND ANY program slows down your machine, and with that said if you already have a prgram that unzips files, why would you go download another one just so that can also decode ONE SOLITARY .rar file? I'm trying to keep a clean and speedy computer just like everyone else, I imagine. I just got done formating my machine about 6 times consecutivley (is that too big a word for you?) and fixing it a while back, I don't need to put any extra crap on it to slow it back down. One file is not worth all the crap an entire program will leave lingering even after it has been uninstalled, you're a complete idiot for not understanding my previous post, I was simply saying I didn't dowload it for that reason and more people would if he converted. But you my friend, went beyond stupid in your post, trying to question my reason when is stated quite clearly. So don't reply to any of my posts again unless you've actualy read and understand the post. And it's not just that you questioned it, it's what you said, it had nothing to do with being time consuming, it's tedious. Look that word up, you'll also learn it in just about every high school english class, and if not all, atleast one of four, I promise you that.earthcurrent wrote:A link is provided to get winrar so you can unrar your rar files.Jace Tsunami wrote:a winrar file.....Common dude, not many people have that program, and seeing as how you appearently do, you didn't have to make a .rar file, winrar will also compress anything into a .zip file. Hmmm....
Well, to tell you the truth, I like WinRAR better than Winzip. Firstly I do a lot of scripting and most files are compressed and can only be uncompressed by WinRAR and not Winzip. Secondly, I find the WinRAR compresses the file better than Winzip. Thirdly, you must be mistaken, Winzip is usually the irritating one, it always seems to pop up on my taskbar every time I uncompress a file, WinRAR does not. Fourthly, it is easier to uncompress your files with WinRAR than with Winzip. Lastly, I'm using a P3 1GHZ so it doesn't matter much
to me.

I like dbz just about as much as the next guy, you know, I watch it, that's about all of the extent there. If you're commenting about the gohan in the banner, that's not a sig. It's the banner to my site, which is for everything. And if you look at it, it's not half bad, plus there are a lot of people who absolultey love dbz, it's a good add banner. And lense flares arn't completly un tastefull, i mean you shoulda seen what I had to work with, I'll give you a couple links to the two pics I used to make that banner.

And to top it off, a guy thats tupid had it coming

Re: Hmmm....
If you like the program, that's all good and fine, but like I said and you probably know, you can compress into a .zip file with winrar. That's all I was ever saying in the first place, cuz that's the reason i didn't download it, no need for two programs.Gottaname wrote:Well, to tell you the truth, I like WinRAR better than Winzip. And BTW, I have a 1.8ghz processor, used to have a 1. I also have a ton of ram, stuff adds up. the "a penny saved is a penny earned" thing is kinda the same logic here. No need to have something you don't really need, every program hurts a little....
