My first AMV

So hello to all, I'm kinda new to the whole AMV busines. This is not only my first AMV ,but my first atempt to make a video so if it sucks tell me what should I improve. The AMV contains fight scenes from Samurai Champloo episode 1 and 3 and music from Nirvana Smells Like Teen Spirit. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=93942

I just have the uneasy premonition a bunch ot flamers will rush in to do their thingy here.

Ok personally i think it's a bad thing when someone's just sitting there and talking with no reason while the music is playing.
Work on your timing and move on a more advanced program (if you're using wmm). You can follow the lyrics or make a storyboard to make the amv interesting. Subtitles are bad idea though i had them too in my first.
You also have to learn to put the most appropriate scenes on the most appropriate part of the song.Do your best next time. ^_-
and when you're sick of doing it you can always drop it cause you'll get flamed anyway no matter how much effort you put

I love your Icon there!

First let me add that ALL first AMVs suck! Hell even mine.

I suggest you work on and practice your amvs then you can remake this one into something better!

Thanks for the advice Usagi-dono, and can you recomend any free more, advanced programs than wmm, because I'm 13 and I don't have any money and I doubt that my parents would buy it for me.

Thank's. I got the icon from http://www.zedge.no its suposed to be for my cellphone but I downloaded it.

Try <a href="http://www.bobyte.com/AviTricks/index.asp">AviTricks</a> and/or <a href="http://www.thugsatbay.com/tab/?q=zweist ... i-Stein</a>, they're both free.

Or if you don't mind switching to Linux, I'm sure Trythil et al. could recommend a whole bevy of programs, some of which are listed in the F/OSS sticky in the Video Software Help board.

I'll check it out and leave a op on it ones im well... not half asleep cause its still like 12 in the morning =/ expect a op tonight might not be so pretty but im a honest man and ill do my best to get the message over =)
