Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Sorry, should have made a post...

I posted in my journal... but downloads exceeded 13 gigabytes, and the person who was hosting my videos is liable to get one hell of an over-usage fee (as he's limited to a gigabyte per month) so they had to go back down. Guess I'll have to find another place that can actually handle my videos...

13 Gigabytes in less than 48 hours IS a bit much, I suppose. ^-^

Ummm...I suggest you compress your files before you put them online again. Even I'm not willing to sit through a 13 gigabyte download.

Y'see, all five videos generated a TOTAL of 13 gigabytes. I could imagine UPLOADING 13 gigabytes of video. ...Well, not really, no. :-) But each video was from 30 to 50 megabytes, but in 48 hours the total downloads for all of them exceeded 13 gigs, and since the host was only allowed one gigabyte of uploads, that's a big deal.

1GB of traffic a month? Jeez! My Homestead account gives more bandwidth than that.

I thought that was a bit low myself. Couldn't even run a P2P client sharing files with that low of an upload limiter! But he DOES live in the UK, so I guess things are different there. I think ATTBI's unlimited, if I can just...get...a ... video...uploaded...correctly!
