That was really enjoyable, the editting style was right up my ally. I also thought the video size to quality ratio was great. The Asuka vs Everything fight is pretty overused, but it was a good fight, so I don't really mind.

I have to disagree. Having the R2 renewal for EoE, I noticed upon watching this video that you somehow made the footage look almost as bad as Manga's release of the film.

I can understand the grain and such from the compression...but the color looked very washed out. Now this is all assuming by your title of this forum topic that you used footage from the Renewal/Platinum copy of the films, and if you did, you either added a bunch of post processing filters that you didn't need or you used a re-encoded copy. Also, why make an anamorphic source letterbox? Not that it's unheard of, but in most cases it's from footage already letterboxed where the person was just too lazy to crop. Plus it's a waste of bits.

Well enough with my bitching and ranting. The video was okay. The lyric sync was sparce, where you'd let one scene sync, then let the rest of the scenes that immediately follow play out with a few cuts to maintain the action, ignoring portions of the song. Same can be said with some other syncing issues, but the video still flows together alright. I dunno if you were attempting some lip sync at some parts, cause if you were it was pretty bad.

Sorry for off topic, but I want the renewal of EoE. I've heard about it, but when I look for it at places like amazon and rightstuf I can't find it. Someone please help me out!

Because the majority of it is the Region 1 Manga Entertainment U.S. release - just put through some filters to clean up the footage.

The only Renewal footage I used is a few scenes of Eva Platinum during the last half of the movie.

That's because you probably should be looking at CDJapan. It's gonna cost you, though (I think it cost me $72 or something close to that, and that was for the regular edition, not the DTS). It's a two-disc set that comes with Death(True)².
