Shackled

Post by silver_moon » Mon May 23, 2005 4:20 am

This is a Sasuke profile vid that I spent the last three months making. I spent over 150 hours on it and was very perfectionist with it, and it's probably the video that I put the most effort into so far. So even though it's a Naruto vid, hopefully you'll give it a chance.

Title: Shackled
Anime: Naruto
Song: Vertical Horizon - "Shackled"
Category: Serious, Drama, Character Profile

Of all the Sasuke profile videos I've seen this one is my favorite. It gave me that chill/tingling feeling from watching, very nice job with emotional timing. The scene choice was excellent, and the lyric synch was also very nice. I also found the song choice to be really good. Awesome job as always!!! ^_^ 5/5

Good stuff. One of my favorite aspect of the video was, despite being nearly six minutes long, the flow and story development kept it smooth and interesting. I tend to get bored with even good videos after the five minute mark, that definitely wasn't the case here.

Actually I got so sucked into it, that it felt short and left me wanting more. And that's a big compliment for a 6 minute AMV. :)

Wow!

That was excellent watching :) A well-chosen song, lots of well-chosen scenes, and a really good overall theme to it. Did an excellent job of getting me to emphasise with a character that, ultimately, I don't like :p

Thanks very much for this video, I'll be keeping it.

I'm very impressed this is a real masterpiece, actually it's the 2nd good Naruto amv I've seen and that I'll keep for sure (1st is WOTB). Most of all Naruto videos are just plain stupid and totally boring but this video shows that there is still a way to make a very good and original Naruto video that sticks out of all the masses of stupid Naruto-actionvideos. I really liked the editing and the skilled use of effects as well as the sceneselcetion in combination with the song and its mood / lyrics. Great portait of Sasuke (even Iif I never saw much of the series I now think I should watch a bit more). And extra bonus for the length of this video.
