  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

First Uploaded AMV

Post by NaD00D00 » Sat Jan 08, 2005 9:12 pm

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself and everything since I'm new and all. I uploaded my first AMV today (though it's the latest of four I've made), so I wanted to let you guys check it out and see what you think. I'm pretty much a n00b, so I hope I did everything right and all that. Let me know what you think, and I hope to see some of everyone else's work.

Footage is Full Metal Alchemist and the Music is Weezer, "Say It Ain't So."
I titled the video the same cuz it seemed appropriate, and I couldn't think of anything better. Thanks again.

I thought it was a good video, although I didn't like the fact that it was all intros.

Also, I saw some interlacing mistakes. Were these taken from the dvds? Because the endings and intros are creditless.

You needed more of a diversity of footage and better sync, in my opinion. Still, cool video.

Well, I would have used actual eps...but I don't have any of the DVDs or a burner yet. The intros/endings came from a special edition soundtrack or something, as I got a copy of it from a friend. He ripped it onto a cd for me cuz I don't have a burner. But thanks, I appreciate the advice. Sorry for asking, but what's interlacing?
