- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

thank you all
To everyone who's looked at this post: Thank you. I'm happy to entertain your curiosity for a sec. Also, much thanks for taking the time to watch this video and reply in the forum. My friends will also be excited since this is our third video.
Sarahtheboring: Sorry to lump "Like a Prayer" in with "Lucky Star". (I've got them on the same CD, but it is a collection.
)
Scintilla: Does "better quality export" refer to the format? As in wmv or avi or somthing like that? If so, then I will remember with following videos to make more than one type. If not, then please explain.
Themaan: I've tried WMM with my first video and I disliked it so much that I scrapped the lot and started over with Pinnacle Studio8. (But I make wmv files because it's all my computer will play--I'd like to see it when I'm done.
) In the "make movie" tab, I chose the second best quality option. I used the worst with my first, the next to worst with my second and I felt this was the third level. This weekend, I want to replace this video with the "Best Quality" option and see the difference.
Thank you everyone for the tips. I will definately apply them to our next attempt.
Much love,
Minx

Re: thank you all
Partially. You can have crappy AVIs and you can have good-looking WMVs; it's all a matter of the settings you use. I'll elaborate later.MadMadameMinx wrote:Scintilla: Does "better quality export" refer to the format? As in wmv or avi or somthing like that?
Somewhere in Pinnacle's export settings, there should be some kind of custom option that lets you pick your codec, resolution, etc. ... if you can, you really should export a lossless (read: HuffYUV), full-resolution copy of your video, and compress it to DivX/XviD AVI using VirtualDubMod or MPEG-1 using TMPGEnc.MadMadameMinx wrote:Themaan: I've tried WMM with my first video and I disliked it so much that I scrapped the lot and started over with Pinnacle Studio8.
