Shin Hatsubai turns 3, big videorelease

Despite repeated equipment issues and the long term apathy/antipathy of the AMV community at large, the studio known as Shin Hatsubai Productions has limped and straggled through 36 months of continuous operation. Given the recent "softening" of the music choice in SH videos and lack of extremeness in video, I decided to celebrate the survival milestone with the public release of four videos that had, until now, been more or less unavailable (atleast since the CD-DC folded) for reasons of content, in addition to the three videos hosted on Globocide. I'm still here, still metal, and still have a few odd yet lame tricks left in the bag.

The band is a punk/ska combo from my area that broke up a year or two ago; good stuff, but they had member-issues and didn't get signed when they ought've, otherwise you'd've heard of them before now. No sexual content, but lots and lots of Projectile Hematic Extrusion.

This is a hentai video, even if very little of the sex is explicit. If you're not of the age of majority in your local jurisdiction, you shouldn't watch it. The video is supposed to be serious in the line of couples-erotica, but I think I made one too many visual puns on "play with me" lyrics....or maybe "serious" and "porn" just don't go together that well.

As best as I could determine at the time of its completion, this was the first AMV with skinhead music listed on the .org. The actual skinhead content is pretty minor, and the visuals make it clear that the associated attitudes are being lampooned, but there are always morons out there who take shit literally and would give me crap for doing this at all. I also didn't want to set a precedent which would either a) allow people to throw genuinely offensive vids with racist music on local with impunity or b) force Phade to develop speech codes for this site, which is about the last thing we need. When "temporary" and "own bandwidth" are added to "obvious parody", the risk becomes low enough to post it.

Enjoy till Monday, then they're coming down. If there's one among these that you think actually fits within local requirements after all, say so and I'll move it over. Other comments are welcome as always; flames will be redirected to /dev/null.

That's the good thing about doing hentai videos. You can try to make them good, and if that doesn't work out, then, well, there's still boobs. Nobody gets disappointed.
