Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I watched it and thought it was meh at best... I don't watch/like DB related material for a purpose, but decided to not hate it for a while...

Also: don't upload partial videos, like trailers for upcoming videos like you stated. If you want to pimp a partial video, put it up for direct or indirect download so people can see how it is so far and wait until it's done to post it on the ORG and upload it to the ORG.

Take my advice and you will become a better creator. Showing people the first part is good because if they like it, then they will most likely want to see the final version. If you upload partial videos to the Local storage server, then that gets on the Mod's bad side because it requires effort on their part to remove the partial vid and then tell you not to upload it until it's done.

Just me 2 cents... And some advice

Don't blame him. You said it was a trailer, after all.

Also, if it was a trailer for an upcoming music video, then it shouldn't really have been entered in the first place. Partial videos, or previews are called Betas. There was something somewhere on this website that specifically said you shouldn't enter video information until the video is finished. I can't find that now. =/ .. so obviously it's not very accessable.

Alas, if this was a seperate video, ok. If it was a beta, bad, BAD noob.

I tried finding it also, and couldn't find it. I talked to AbsoluteDestiny about my video cause I couldn't change the premiere date and then said that I should wait until the vid is finished before entering info.

Some things in this site are easily accessable and some are very hard to find...

I thought it was found on the Enter New Video page, the one you have to say you've read in order to continue...
