  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

A blast from the past: My original Anime Music Video

Post by DJ_Izumi » Thu Oct 30, 2003 3:40 pm

Yes indeed, back in November 2000 I cracked open Video Wave 3 and edited a music video.

Keep Hope Alive - The Crystal Method
to
Patlabor 1 and Patlabor 2

Far inferior to anything I've ever posted on the boards previously, but I felt it would be good to upload my first work so it could be compaired to my newer things.

I had never seen an AMV before, I had never heard the term 'AMV' it was just a Music Video to me. This is my field, video production, AMV's are just practice now. :)

Download, but don't think you're going to whitness anything that is totally amazing.

Only if you intend to over-rate it. :)

This makes a lot of DBZ videos look good however.

I only really posted it because it was my first digitally edited music video, I can definitivly tell that is the absolute starting point for my experiance in digital video.
