Nightowl Pictures - Playground Love

Post by Nightowl » Thu Oct 09, 2003 8:07 am

Okay, so our AWA Pro video Playground Love is up for download locally now... it's MPEG-1 (say what you will), won best original concept and best artistic in the Pro contest, all that fun stuff. Love it or hate it, watch it or don't, it's there for the taking, should anyone want it.

GORGEOUS(sp?)! Absolutely gorgeous! I really liked the usage of the "old film" effect and some of the "drafted" characters. I also liked the floating cherry blossoms. :P

Yes ladies and gentlemen thuis is the pro video that dragged all the other videos out into the street and shot them in the face... it was nominated for like 5 catagories and won 2 of them.

I loved this video. I ended up voting for it in all 5 catagories, and nominating it for, I think, 6.

Its awesome. This is the kinda of artsy stuff that I love.

This is what I consider excellent use of software and the effects that can be produced.

Fantastic vid. I nominated the living hell out of it in pro, and was happy to see it win.

Wow that wa really well produced...all the effects looked so proffesional. Even the leaves falling go in front and behind the people. Only thing that kinda annoyed me was the slowness and limit of moving scenes. I like still shots but for the whole video its gets kinda old after the first minute. I was hoping that during the solo it would chnage a scene and see some other cool effects.
