- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My AWA Master's entry (*cough* loser *cough*)
Circle of Conflict
Anime: Princess Mononoke
Music: Scars of Time by Yasunori Mitsuda (from the game Chrono Cross)
Now I too realize the unoriginality of submitting a Ghibli Instrumental video to Masters, but oh well. And yes, I realize others have used this song and even this combination, but I wanted to do it anyway in the hopes I could do it well.
The main reason I made this video is because this song is absolutely beautiful. I thought it would be a good challenge to *try* to capture that beautiful flow the flute and violin provide. Hopefully I captured a little bit of it.
I'll write a video description later since there are quite a few subtle things I did in terms of crescendos, particular instruments, upward trends in the notes, etc. I bet none of that makes sense.
My concept was fairly simple (IMO), I wanted to illustrate the neverending vicious circle that seems to exist between man and nature. Hopefully you see this since I had a Kodama at the end and so on. Oh and yes I put the text from the game intro in on purpose. It seemed to apply with what I was going for.
Somewhat related, but I also posted my NES Project track in that particular thread.
Enjoy!

I think this video is beautiful, Daniel. It has fantastic flow, and the music really fits the mood of the movie. Great job!
