Background:
Ganbate Hime! Is a video I created for my Hime (and fiancee), Lori. She's been through some really rough times, just like Youko in Juuni Kokki, and just like Youko, she always gives her all.
Purpose:
In this video I tried to show how Youko grows in both mental and physical strength as her journey progresses. She never gives up and never gives in, and grows in her moral character.
Music:
I remixed "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World for this video. If anyone's interested, I did my mixing and filtering using Audacity. There isn't much different from the original mix, other than a new opening to the song using a heavily filtered section of the acoustic version.
Anime:
Juuni Kokki (The Twelve Kingdoms) is currently my favorite anime and if you haven't seen it's definately worth watching.
Spoilers:
Yes, this video does have spoilers. Unfortunately, if I wanted to use any footage with Youko beyond episode 13, spoilers are a given. I've tried to keep them as short and vague as possible, so hopefully it won't take anything away from the anime if you haven't seen it yet.
Please let me know if you enjoy this video. Though my most important critic has already given me two thumbs up, I'd like to hear from you as well.
