Who Let the 'Fros Out??? Um, sorry, that would have been me

Post by Ashyukun » Wed May 21, 2003 5:33 pm

Critical acclaim for Electric Leech Productions' newest video, "Who Let the 'Fros Out":

""Who let the dogs out" is going to hurt everybody's brains." - Quu
"What I want to know is, who's going to put the dogs back in." - Greggo
"What the *EXPLETIVE DELETED* was that???" - random AMV viewer

Find out what the critics are raving about! Download Who Let the 'Fros Out now! It's short! It's cute! It only causes seizures in less than 1/2 of 1% of viewers! Act now, and you'll get our latest intro bumper free of charge!

What's that link again? Here you go! Who Let the 'Fros Out - if nothing else, it beats watching yet another LinkinBall Z video! Act now! Supplies are unlimited!

Electric Leech Productions can not be held responsible for any insanity, paranoia, going super-deformed, or the urge to purchase mass quantities of Afro Ken merchandise viewing of this video may induce. However, if seeing it makes you want to send me money, please don't hesitate. No LinkinBall Z videos were harmed in the making of this post, though some may have felt a bit insecure.

I hope everyone enjoys this! It was more fun to make than should be allowed. One note for those of you who saw this at ACen last weekend and/or got copies of the CDs I handed out- the uploaded version is the slightly modified Otakon version. Anyone who got a CD has the rare, director's cut edition of the video. 8)

Share and Enjoy!

Thanks! I'm sorry I didn't have better quality Initial D footage to work with :/

The audience reaction to it up on the big screen was a whole lot of fun. As it won't be DQ'd by Otakon's trolling rules, if you're going to Otakon I'll be submiting it there as well and hopefully it will make it into the contest to be shown up on the big screen again :)

You gave me an unreadable CD :(

Other than that, though, cute video ;) I'd never even heard of Afro Ken before, and I remember watching it and going "Holy crap, Ashyukun did all that CG work by himself?!"

 Ack!

Scheiss. I'm really sorry about that- PM me your address and I'll burn another off (and double check it) and send it to you. :(

I wish I could claim to be anywhere nearly good enough to have done all the CG in the video... I'm going to be pushing it to just learn LightWave well enough for what I need for an upcoming video...

Nah, don't worry about it -- I can wait until ACen 2004 :) Unless you insist, of course...

I originally got my copy of it from Amazon Japan right after it first was released to DVD. CD Japan has it for a lot cheaper now, and the link to it is here. Hopefully the direct link will work- if not, just go to CD Japan and do a search for 'Afroken'.

I can't wait till ACen2004. Sadly, it's the next time I'll probably see some of you guys (assuming you don't go to AWA or Otakon).
