That was just a delight from start to finish. Which is to say, it was a delight to begin with. But by the end, it was so much more than that. The way the video developed was so layered and clever I wasn't sure whether I wanted to laugh or just be straight up amazed. Every phase introduced a new paradigm shift with a different sustained gag and different anime sources, but still maintained a cohesive narrative with the main character it started out with. If I had any expectations about the kind of video this was or where the story was headed, they would have been subverted, inverted, and humiliatingly mashed back into my face.
