Just me, back again for another round and to announce my 2nd AMV.
I greatly appreciate the advice and comments to my 1st video and those helped me with this second one when I had all but stalled out on it. I got the inspiration for this one before I was 1/2 way done with my 1st one. I have had a problem now that I have started in the AMV world lately were the vibe or a lyric from a song will pop a vision of an Anime I have watched into my head. Makes it hard to finish the one I am working on!
The Crows are back in this one, doing what they do best. I focused some on this one getting the pacing sped up and clips shortened without losing the feel of the series and making it into a series of image flashes. My hope is that these AMV entice people to watch the series.

It's an improvement for sure. Try to branch to different shows or kinds of AMVs to improve faster.

This was thoroughly enjoyable, not quite like anything I've watched here in a while.
Beware of orphan frames like the one at 2:18.

Thanks, I have a fairly limited library of Anime that I have watched, but I am expanding. I Just posted one lastnight from another series and have a bunch of others noted down to do. I keep hearing a song/lyric and getting images from anime in my head..twigglyfiggly wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 7:58 pmIt's an improvement for sure. Thank you! I am enjoying using the music and video together to tell a story, very much like music videos of old as a few people have mentioned to me. I am an 80's/MTV era kid, so it makes sense. I am trying now to break out of the linear use of video footage.seasons wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 11:08 pmThis was thoroughly enjoyable, not quite like anything I've watched here in a while.

WOW, amazing catch on that. I am assuming you are referring to the phantom elbow and head? I had to go thru it frame by frame to catch that after you mentioned it. Looks like the original had them moving so fast it was a blur effect to keep the full speed action smooth to the eye? I will keep my eye out for that in the future.
My latest video I was getting ghosting when adding crossover for transitions. It was an interesting experience trying different transitions to find what fit and seeing that some of them made ghosts pop up and others did not.
