Its been 6 years since i made an amv. I know this anime been up for a while now but I started this 6 years ago but finished it a last few days. Working on a Alfheim Online video at the moment and hope to incorporate feedback into that vid.

I thought this pretty good. You did a nice job with the overall flow and masking. I did feel that the transitions in the first minute were bit too quick for the music. Was a bit jarring watching and hard to stay focused. Other than that pretty enjoyable.

"There's got to be another way out
I've been stuck in a cage with my doubt"

Hearing these lyrics and not seeing any of the scenes where Asuna is trapped in the giant cage is probably as surprised as I'm going to be by anything today. But I mean that in the best way possible.

A fair amount of this kind of frame blending was kind of distracting. I can't say what the issue is, it probably depends on what kind of footage you're using and what programs you're editing with.

Not a big fan of the watermark, keep it if you must but it's visual clutter that I don't care for.

Like vkamv said, the first minute seemed kind of busy and intense given that the song is just getting off the ground. On one hand, the music is definitely calling for it, but yet it doesn't leave you with a lot of room to build up towards anything as the video progresses into the middle and ending sections.

Overall, the action sync in this was pretty solid. The masked transitions were pretty well done (although some of them seemed like strange choices, particularly the sandwich-dropping shot at 1:23, which sort of undermines the serious tone you're trying to establish). The fanart-logo thing at 1:31 also left me feeling a little confused... this didn't pull me deeper into the video, but instead kind of broke the illusion for me. But other viewers might love it, I really don't know.

Congrats on finishing your five year journey on finishing this AMV!
