New vid after two years of silence
I finally got a new video editing program thanks to a friend, and this video is the result. This is my first AMV in a good while, and also my first AMV with the new program. As such, I am still getting back into the swing of things. So, opinions would be greatly appreciated.
The song is "I'm Dangerous" by Everlove. The anime is My Hero Academia (the first two seasons and the movie). I wanted to focus on the progress Midoriya made, from training to his performance in the movie. You know... Something simple to focus on while hammering out the idiosyncrasies of a new editing interface, and all the hindrances there implied. All that aside, I also wanted to showcase my personal progress in the world of video editing.
So, hopefully no crazy interlacing where it shouldn't be, chroma artifacts, or all the other nonsense I used to get harangued for. If you do see something weird, please let me know so I can continue to improve. Many thanks, and enjoy!
There is nothing like a moonless night to watch a few AMVs.

Interesting video. I thought you did mostly an excellent job matching scenes to the both the beat and lyrics of the song. I do fee, however, you could have synced more to the beat of the drums at 2:54 to 3:10 with effects or cuts. Some of the scenes felt like they ran long. Other than that, nice work!

Many thanks for the feedback. Your comments are very similar to my sister's, once she got around to watching the video. I will endeavor to keep my more serious works from suffering slow pacing.
In the meantime, I stumbled across a video I messed with last year before my old editing suite fatally crashed. So, I figured I would share it too, since I hadn't ever posted the video out. If I remember right, I spent about a month on this vid and was frustrated by a lack of footage (I only had access to the first few seasons of the show on DVD at the time). That said, I know the ending could be stronger with footage from the final seasons.
Still, I hope you all enjoy this Voltron video for what it is.

Becoming Dangerous does feel off for me to, i guess it needed better pacing and sprucing it up with more sync. As about in the dark i think it can get a pass when it comes to those 2 things maybe a little bit extra meat on few scenes to better up pacing but i think you are on good way .

This probably wasn't the absolute best character profile AMV I've ever seen, but it's one of the most quintessential ones in recent memory.
Technically, pretty flawless. Solidly-edited, every scene feels like it's here for a purpose, no missteps or distracting issues that are throwing me off. While never blowing me away, it was unexpectedly satisfying and re-watchable. Nice work! This one is a keeper.
