Ready for the Popuko

My other entry for AWA Pro this year. It didn't make the finals, although I'm sure if more people knew what the video was spoofing, it probably would have gotten nominated for Best Parody.

Interesting video. I'm one of those people mentioned in your post that don't know what video you were spoofing, but I enjoyed the video nonetheless and believe I got the intent you were looking for. I thought that the length was fitting and overall the editing was clean. The only things negative that stood out might have been out of your control. You zoomed in a lot of scenes and that caused the quality to noticeably degrade. But again, that's hard to fix.

A nice, fun AMV.

While there's a few moments where I did use a little zoom to give them a Ken Burns effect, there was also a lot of moments where I had to zoom in due to either me trying to recreate certain shots of the original video or the fact that it was tricky to edit scenes from the one segment where the runaway American boy befriends Popuko and Pipimi (be it the different aspect ration used or the subtitles used to translate the boy's dialogue to Japanese).

I have no idea what you're spoofing either and I have not seen this series and I have no idea what I just watched.

I'm going to give this one five bags of popcorn.

Yeah, given how random Pop Team Epic can be, I can see how this video would confuse people who have not watched the series.
