  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Can I ask what the visual effect that you used throughout this whole video is called, and how you arrived at the decision to use it?

I'm not out to get you, but the thing that happens at 2:18, you just can't do that, it kills the mood.

Youtube popups/annotations can be turned off, and that's always the first thing I do when I watch any video on Youtube, but man... if you believe in your work, believe that it means anything (that it isn't just a means to an end to get subscribers), and that you are indeed telling a story (you make it very clear that this is NOT an AMV, but an Anime Story Music Video), then you CAN'T have things like that popping up on the screen at the end of what's supposed to be your emotional climax. It just ruins anything and everything that you've got going for you at that point. You're definitely sabotaging your work, which is terrible, but only if that's what's really important to you.
