Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.
A while back I did a video inspired by an idea I got from whom I did an Abridged Series with. as I've started to return to making AMVs and parodies (or at least putting them online, I entered contests just havent uploaded my stuff in a while) it felt right to have this be the first of my AMVs to re-upload.... after I went back and tried to clean up my old editing (I used the premiere date of the original version before my first youtube account was taken down, however said original version was never added to the amv(dot)org catalog only the one im linking here has ever been, that being said if I should change the premiere date to its re-upload date I will do so)
I'll admit... quite a few of the bits used don't really hold up as well, just something to learn from I guess ^_^; Well anyway back then (and then a slightly sooner version of back them for the rework) I messed around with my friends idea and this was the result. Thank you for checking it out I hope you can get at least some enjoyment from it ^_^;

Having the fade-to-whites in the introduction not sync with those fat 80's drums didn't sit well with me, but maybe you're out to defy our expectations?
I don't know what to say about the dialogue that took up much of the middle of this AMV, I don't watch "abridged" videos and only kind of know what they are. How this fits into the middle of what seems like a very sincere AMV, I'm not sure. I'm glad that someone's still burning the torch for the mid-00s, I guess.
The video not fitting in the frame like this, sitting on top of a background image, is a creative decision I'm not sure I've ever come across before.

Oh, the border was to try and avoid youtube's pain in the butt content ID system, it was either that and/or mirror the video xD
and yeah... This AMV was a bit of an experiment, and by their nature experiments can fail ._. thank you for your honesty ^^
