The editing in this amv is super solid. The only thing that kept me from getting truly invested in what was happening on screen, was the lack of connection between the music and what was happening on screen. I am sure my lack in knowledge of this anime makes me feel disconnected even further. But overall I can appreciate the quality of the editing and I am sure if you have used a different song the amv would very fun to watch.

Episode 1 just came out today.....WHY ARE YOU ALREADY EDITING WITH IT! That has always been a pet peeve of mine ever since I first started editing and constantly saw new Naruto and Bleach AMVs that used nothing but the current week's episode. If you're trying to improve as an editor, start by having more restraint on what you edit. I mean....you can edit whatever you want as long as you're having fun, but just using the first episode of something will never give you enough footage to really edit with. Also, it always helps to pick a song that adds meaning to the anime, and a anime that adds meaning to the song. When you do this, your source combos become a lot more interesting.

Ah! Notes to self: Have more restraint in the future for reals! I do have to agree with the amount of footage constraining the AMV overall and seems like the song choice is the common factor in both of yours comments.
