Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I R proud. This is clearly your best so far, I see you put a lot of careful tech work into it, you studied up, learned some new stuff and made something kickass  Using Monogatar and Madoka as the only sources was a bit weird though, as they're pretty different from each other but adding two or more sources could've really boosted this. As solid as the atmosphere was it was difficult to understand the biblical message, like the text might have done better at the beginning to establish that message, and the "Acts" could be more different from each other by having a changing pace or different anime usage and THAT is how you could've kept the 2 anime and still have a strong concept, Act 1 could of been all monogat footage and Act 2 could be all madokadonk footage. Nicely done

I agree with UnluckyArtist that the combo of Madoka and Monogatari as the only sources felt a bit off... However, you did a great job with color corrections, etc. to make them mesh as well as they could. The effects felt very professional, well-executed. The occasional lyric sync was a nice touch.

Overall, I liked it!! Good job

Just like the previous commenters, I was at first thrown off by the 2 anime sources, but once I got over that, I started to realize how well you were transitioning between them. Really good job on this one  I think that some of your color alterations were just a little too much, but that's a small complaint.

Yeah.. I can understand why. I tried to do it a wee bit different than the average video of mine. As to why I went with those two sources, it's the weirdness and symmetry both of the shows have. Like, death the kid would be having a hay day in these shows. So I kind of drew off of that symmetry and weirdness as kind of the overarching theme to draw the two together.
