Gurren Lagann Orchestral
An AMV i've been working on ever since February 2009. Over the years it became a passion project of mine and i can feel nothing but happiness now that i'm finally ready to release it.
After creating the 100% instrumental mix I soon realized that it would perfectly fit to Gurren Lagann. I loved that i was able to spend more time on very emotional moments of that show.
Finishing this AMV has been a huge goal of mine and i'm full of joy now that i've done that. This also marks my twentieth main AMV (original idea, no IC/MEP/fun). If you'd like to read more into the almost seven years that went into creating this AMV, check out the Org description.
Thank you and enjoy!

Heh sync logic here really reminds me of projects i have kept frozen, with hope of inspiration/motivation returning one day. Pretty interesting to see it on whole vid. Wouldn't say I'm huge fan of this anime, but gotta admire your patience for this. It's pretty pleasant ride through series, seems to do it justice. Pretty nice mix too. Just ending felt a bit too harsh -vice rest.

Not going to lie, when I saw the vid was 10 minutes I was more than a little hesitant. I have trouble getting into most instrumental/orchestral AMVs since they take a little extra to pull off I think, but for the most part I think you did a solid job. While the masking and transitions effects were cool a few of them felt a little too fast for the video, but they were usually spread apart enough not to be a distractor. Overall I could see that this video had heart, good job.

Thank you and thanks for sitting through it! As for the ending, i actually really like the way it wraps up fast. But i can see where you're coming from. Thanks for the feedback!M'o'l wrote:Heh sync logic here really reminds me of projects i have kept frozen, with hope of inspiration/motivation returning one day. That's not just you. From statistics maybe 8 people on the org gave it a shot. A couple more so on YouTube. I'm not THAT surprised but i acutally expected people to just watch it a minute and then drop it instead of not giving it a chance at all. Must be a psychological thing. Well it's not like i have another 10 min AMV i've been working on for 6+ years so i will likely not do something like this again.Shin-AMV wrote:Not going to lie, when I saw the vid was 10 minutes I was more than a little hesitant.
Thank you. I've never really worked with instrumental music either but i really love these songs.Shin-AMV wrote:I have trouble getting into most instrumental/orchestral AMVs since they take a little extra to pull off I think, but for the most part I think you did a solid job.
Thank you man. Really means a lot to me!Shin-AMV wrote:While the masking and transitions effects were cool a few of them felt a little too fast for the video, but they were usually spread apart enough not to be a distractor. Overall I could see that this video had heart, good job.

Re: Gurren Lagann Orchestral
For someone like me that havent watched the Gurren Lagan series this video was something. Yes, people could say it was long, but then it had its moments.
Btw, did you get my message buddy?
