  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I adore Akira. The Manga even more so than the Anime. I hope one day they'll to a Akira TV series. Until then this will have to do. Enjoy and check out Akira if you haven't already!

Added new video "Big 10-200, Good Buddy."

A tribute to a nice little roadtrip we had to AWA 2013

Overall this didn't seem very different than the last few Akira AMVs that I've watched, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I enjoyed those, and I enjoyed this one. This looked really good, and I love the energy in it.

Is that a masked transition at 1:13? If so, it's a very good one!

I like how you used the footage between 1:30 and 1:51. The first time I saw this movie, I couldn't believe my eyes when I was seeing this stuff, and I think you did a really good job syncing those clips with the music, in particularly with that little instrumental part of the song and whatever the hell you'd call any of the sounds in it that aren't beats.

Sorry for late reply. I was kinda surprised seeing this thread is still being around.

Yes it is. It's kinda what i do or used to do. I'm scaling back on masked transitions these days but i still do them every once in a while.

Thank you! I'm still in awe by the animations of that film. Although i prefer the story of the manga. Both are great though. Would love for there to be a Akira TV series more closer to the Manga. But that would probably be rather expensive so not gonna happen :(
