Well, this is the first time I've uploaded a video to this site before, though I've lurked around here watching videos for about 10 years. This is also my second ever attempt at an AMV and first I've felt comfortable adding to the database.
For this video, I wanted to make something that gave off a happy, upbeat vibe, while showcasing Ouran's ability to be cute, silly, and just a general "feel-good" anime. It took months just to find a song that I felt would remotely work well with the series. The video was also inspired in part by MeliChan's Ouran High School Never Ends.
I used After Effect CS6 and Premiere Pro CS6. I heavily relied on the guides posted around here, especially the main technical one. Very few digital effects were used or added. I believe I only did one very small thing which required more than the most basic of editing skills.
I'd love honest opinions ... be gentle?

This was honestly a joy to watch. It was super fun and sweet, and made me want to re-watch Ouran to experience all that stupidity all over again. I really liked your use of voice overs too. I thought some of them (sound effects like Haruhi falling on Tamaki, or the extended voice over in the lightning/bedroom scene) were unnecessary, but most of them just added to the fun.
Overall, I really enjoyed how you combined the comedic and serious moments of Ouran to make something uplifting, yet appropriately silly. It's simple, but effective.

Wow, I really love this video. You captured the mood of the show so well. As of lately I haven't seen a ton of people doing the voice over thing but the ones you had felt right and added a lot why I thought the mood of the show was captured so well. The music also fit the tone of the video really well. I stopped watching the preview halfway through to download the video because I liked it so much. I think this is one of the better Ouran High School Host Club amvs I've seen so great job on this one and I hope to see more from you soon... and now I must re watch Ouran-ran ran ran... ran. Okay I'm done now.
