I'm back with my first Devil May Cry video since that Dante x Trish AMV with "The Only Time" by NIN. I was gonna do one for "The Wind Cries Mary", but later on I decided that an AMV for All Along The Watchtower would be easier to make, so I went with that idea, but I might still do one for "Mary" in the future.

Re: Devil May Cry-All Along The Watchtower
It may be because I've never seen Devil May Cry nor have I ever played the game, but overall I felt the concept itself was week and it just seemed like a couple of fight scenes timed to the music. Even with an action video there should be some sort of a concept going on and not just seemingly random fight scenes. Maybe had I seen the show or played one of the games though it may not have seemed quite so random though, but its a thought maybe to put towards your next one. You did have some good timing and internal sync in spots through the amv. However going back to the seemingly random fight scenes some clips seemed really long and felt like they should be cut down and maybe the action that finally did happen in the longer clip happening on a later beat have it happen on an earlier one.

Well I can't just cut the scene in half. People will just go "Who won the fight and who lost?" and they'll get confused. If I just cut to a different scene after the one guy gets pushed out of the way to avoid the monster for example it wouldn't make sense.animefreak00007 wrote:It may be because I've never seen Devil May Cry nor have I ever played the game, but overall I felt the concept itself was week and it just seemed like a couple of fight scenes timed to the music. I like that you used a Jimi Hendrix song.. can't say much about anything else.
