My first Amv!=]
I'm so excited to have finally finished my first amv. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but i'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

So, I looked around inside myself and managed to find a fragment of emotion that bore a surprising resemblance to being mildly impressed. That was actually not painful to watch. It started off shaky with some uninteresting scene selection, but it was just an awkward set-up for a video that ended up being much better than I thought it would. The dumb-looking transitions near the beginning also helped under-sell the rest of the piece, but fortunately they stopped being used.
Once it got past the shaky phase, I saw quite a bit of natural (if inexperienced) talent being put to use. Unlike most first AMVs, it stuck very closely to the music, hitting all relevant beats with well chosen clips and did an average-to-fair job of keeping the action going. Not only that, but there were a few points where I could see some genuine thought went into the sequencing of previously unrelated clips, also something uncommon in first AMVs. Your montage-fu is off to a healthy start.
It's far from perfect, but I would not have assumed it was a first AMV. However, if you would like a more official review you should upload it to the org's library.
