Thanks so much for the wonderful comments, my lady. And thanks for your encouragement during the processVivifxAMV wrote:Ah yes the infamous video 6 arrives at last....
This is a stunning work, both in the technical aspects and the amount of seamless scene modification. I really enjoyed this AMV at AWA (Not as much as Shin...but you know how that goes) and I was really pleased to see where you took it and how you continued to push and polish until it reached your original vision. There are so many powerful emotional moments in this video. I love love love the sequence starting at :58 seconds (You know what I'm talking about haha). It is really something to see and experience in both the flow, sync and clip choice. Overall an amazing Penguindrum video. In fact it is the video that made me watch Penguindrum, and that was a very good life choice.
Well done Ryan! I know you worked really hard on this and it totally shows. A wonderful return from retirement from a wonderful editor ^^
(Also digging how pretentious and artistic it is. You know how I feel about pretentious artisticness)
You'll become an overlay convert yet.l33tmeatwad wrote:Dem overlay D:
Good job man!
Thank you! I knew when I made this that it wasn't going to be incredibly accessible to everyone, but I was hoping that the *puts on beret and gets serious* artistic vision would elevate it into something special, even for those not familiar with Penguindrum! I'm glad it resonated with you.995Gabber wrote:these visuals are probably ones of the coolest I have ever seen! I usually tend to dislike the usage of blending options. Or rather the misusage of it. However, your attempt is super smooth *^* couldn't help but drool over this piece of art haha. Very powerful
