For your first try on a AMV, you did a job well done, i like it especially how you used the color correction, it really fits ^^

The flow of the amv is alright, some points you have a little bit too long scenes, but it fits alright

I'll be quite serious with this one : I really couldn't finish up this AMV. My eyes totally hurt with all that unneeded RGB effect. There were some plain scenes and this effect was being just an excuse for the beat on the background. This must be the first time I just quit seeing a video, not because I don't like it, but to prevent further damage to my eyes! There are thousand of "seizure bringing action vids" out there, but this one...

OK, for a first attempt, it's decent, I'll say that. And it's probably better than any video I've ever finished. But the fact remains that it feels like you were using the chromatic aberration and shaking to make up for the fact that there wasn't really anything else going on in the video. Of course, there is such a thing as an AMV where the use of effects is the concept, but this didn't feel like one of them. For your next video, try to focus more on what the concept behind the video is, and you might find that the video comes together nicely without having to use effects in this way. Sorry if I sounded a little harsh, but that's my truthful opinion on the video.

I like the music, the effects were fine somewhat. One of my concerns is that the words didn't match the video to me much so when you used the effects it didn't hit me the best it could have. Since it your first I'd say it's fine. I mean, my first was terrible. If you try again because I know and think of that anime as one of my favorites, sync up the words and the video in some parts if possible. For me though, if its a chorus and it like a Linkin park song I'd just dash in any action I can to catch the viewer. Anyhow, good start but make sure you think about your video
