Feedback on cataloged Anime Music Videos

Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

It's been a while, lol.
So, I decided to make something for a local AMV contest, since they usually lack entries. Paco challenged me to make a happy Anohana video, and I thought "hey why not?". But then the deadline started creeping behind my back and I ended up using too many zoom outs because everything looked boring to me.
Anyways, enjoy :D

This was awesome! it was happy, just my stupid brain and memories made it sad.
It's happy and sad ^^;

I wouldn't say you used too many zooms, a lot of the scenes are quite still, and these zoom outs made the amv "jumpier" (?) which is like... happy.

really enjoyed it.

Well, I was having a tough time selecting the scenes because I wanted to make people forget that this anime isn't that cheerful, at least for the 3 minutes of the video. Guess I didn't quite succeed, lol.
About the zooms, a friend told me about that before I was done, so I started paying more attention to the amount of zooms I was adding and that's probably why I feel like it has too many :sweat:

the audio is out-of-phase, that was recorded that way by Idiots who don't know how to align mics! - 1/9th

That was a fun, very happy vid. I liked it. There are indeed a lot of zooms, but it never really bothered me or anything, so don't worry about that. :)

really like the fun aspect of this vid, wish there were less of the constant zoom-outs but really enjoyed it nonetheless
