I wouldn't put my money on it. There are actually some metaheads on these boardsParodic Productions wrote: Artist: Engorged (Trust me, you never heard of'em)
The org does infact still need more actual metal-videos so I gladly downloaded and watched the video.
It was fun to watch, though it felt rather slow at parts. I really liked the scenes chosen with a lot of movement, but some rather slow scenes with little movement didn't really do justice and disrupted the video flow.
I wasn't sure about the subtitles. I get the purpose, they're funny and all....but I could actually tell enough of the actual lyrics to not being able to link them to the vocals. (I guess someone who's not used to grunting and growling maybe couldn't tell though)
Anyway, this was pretty cool.

Re: [Otakon 2012] Squid Girl Is Metal
Well, this video see-sawed for me (in a good way). The first half was clever but didn't really grab me beyond a couple funny scenes here and there, because like Kevmaster mentioned, it was a bit slow in places. But the last half when the jokes and newscast stuff started quickly made me more engaged and start laughing. I feel the video needed more of what you did at the end to start getting people cracking up earlier in the video, but the video as a whole was totally worth the watch because of the random stuff, like the Skyrim lyrics and such, that made me lol hard by the end. Also kudos on the concept, watching this made me nostalgic for Lollipops, Sunshine, And RrrRRRrrr which was also one of my faves long ago.
Cheers and good work!
Also Squid Girl FTW!!!

I am not a fan of the series, but that was freaking hilarious! I do agree that some of the subtitles were way off the sound of the lyrics, but some were so close it was really funny.

I am glad to have contributed to inspiring this comeback video. It had been a while since we last had a Comedy video with some decent mondegreens, and of course the world needs more Squid Girl.

I think there is a little metal-head hidden inside all of us
