Well, I also came here for the topic title. I guess nowadays you really have to do some wtf-titles to actually get attention within all these new videos poppin' up on a daily basis...

Either way, I love Florence + The Machine and this is my favourite song she did. I must also give you props for doing the best Florence video I've seen yet. Though I gotta say, I still had my issues with the video and this still didn't fill my needs for an actual amazing video set to her music.

I thought Utena was a good anime choice and the scene choices went very well with the music and the theme of the song. I really liked the usage of the scenes with water, as obviously they make a lot sense in context.
The pacing was right overall, some parts could have needed more scene changes/cuts but in general you did quite well.
What I hated were the bright colors. The song has a really dark atmosphere and looking at all the colorful scenes was kind of annoying.
You should have tried to play with different color/brightness filters and corrections until you got it right. These can change the whole atmosphere of a video and enhance the viewing atmosphere a lot.

I really disliked the ending. It's not only that I didn't get what was happening and why but also that it was too short. It didn't feel like a climax either and you left me hanging when it suddenly ended. I despise the song cut. Really, this is a perfect example of why I'm in general against cutting songs. It just seemed like you ran out of footage, got lazy, weren't creative enough to pull off the whole song. This fade-out and ending of the song made me quite angry.

1:43-1:48 was totally off-beat.

This is completely true. I used to use a bland but informative subject line for announcements, and I'd get very few responses. Then one time I put the word "yuri" in the subject line, and I got several pages.

Then check out Shin's latest (), it's pretty amazing.

Thanks for the positive comments. I will try to address the negative ones.

Really? I was even thinking of increasing the saturation.

The ending of that song goes on forever, and I did indeed run out of footage. One of my pet peeves is a video that outstays its welcome, so I made the decision to cut it before it started to drag. It must sound quite jarring to someone who is used to hearing the full length song, so I apologize for that.

Quite possible. It looks "on" to me, but I've had other videos that I thought were "on" and others insisted were "off".
