Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Please Don't Go

A video I made for Neverend's tournament.

I think the beginning of the video is quite misleading, as there really is no concept, although I planned it to; I saved this video for the weekend before the deadline, so the lack of time I put in this can be blamed for the random ending. Although I suppose if you've seen the anime, it's not quite as random, but I don't typically like those kinds of concepts.

Anyhow, when I first put this on youtube, there was a lot of technical issues that I didn't change, but I spent about an hour last weekend cleaning most of it up, and it's a bit better now.
However, because of the sheer amount of color curves I put on these clips as well as the fact that I basically just threw this thing in zarx, the quality is quite pathetic. If you're bothered by it, you can go watch it on youtube.

But I liked the idea of it enough to put it on the org, even though it's incomplete and rather shitty. Nonetheless, you might enjoy, maybe.
And that's a mask at :45, somebody please notice ;-;

I already liked the first iteration you uploaded to youtube. Incomplete/"shitty" or not, I enjoyed it :up:

I gotta agree with pwolf - you're so dismissive of your editing, concept and technical aspects of your videos sometimes, but don't forget that that's not really what matters anyway. I really love some of the sentimental videos you've put out cause you're very good at mood sync. This isn't "incomplete and shitty" at all, actually it's one of those rare cases where editing stays out of the way of atmosphere, and that's pretty awesome. I liked this one a lot.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Thanks Otohiko (: I tend to be my biggest critic, and I think that keeps me from seeing some of the things others enjoy about my videos, since I'm too occupied with all the little things I don't like haha. But thank you, I really appreciate the compliments on the 'mood sync' and atmosphere, since that's what I strive to at least have done well in each of my videos (:
