Find It:

Wow, incredibly cheesy And on the top of that I'm biased against game footage. Like it has to be really well edited to please my taste.. But I appreciate your ultra-simplistic concept. No pretentious crap here. Could have used more fades though. Some of the cuts felt too edgy for a song like this.

KA-Ching:

A fun combination. Although occasionally all the action and the song felt like a mismatch...but only occasionally! It was quite pleasurable for the eye for an AMV, which relied so much on simple sharp cuts. I often have so many problems with this because I'm always expecting people to place the cuts on the beats in a obsessive mathematical way but the internal sync made it worthwhile here. Enjoyed this one!

Selfless Regret:

Deffinitely the best of the three. Such a lovely atmosphere. The narrative was really confusing but I think it's just that I haven't seen the anime. But the overall mood flow was enough to pull the viewer in. Although I still think switching quite randomly between sharp cuts and cross-fades is distracting. Anyway, really nice job!

I like all three but I found it a bit hard to get into Cash, but your editing was still awesome as per usual. :3

Favourite is definitely Selfless Regret. One of the better character profiles on Sayaka. Plus, it's always nice to see Madoka used to a slower song.

I'll eat the videos and drink coke after. That's how much I liked them. :3

I'm not a big fan of GMVs especially with older games now. 3D CG scenes in general just don't work for me for some reason, but you did a better job than most especially with how clean/HQ your source looks.

I liked KA-Ching more than I thought I would. I saw the song/artist and cringed a little since I'm not a fan but it was executed really well, so props for that.

I liked Selfless Regret the best. Good vibe and good character profile.

The quality...THE QUALITY....WHY IS IT SO AWESOME?! ;_; I loved the mood and the editing, you made best use of what limited footage FF8 had which was...very limited. That being said, it still looks the same as every other FF8 romance video I've seen with this pairing, still I liked it. Also...the quality. THE QUALITY! SO AWESOME!

You know I'm still addicted to this song since the first beta? It refuses to leave my iPod. And my head. This is definitely one of my favs from you. While others might think the source & song is a mismatch, I actually thought it was perfect. And I've already replayed this about 10 or so times without being bored which is a good sign, because I don't really rewatch AMVs. Good job!

Selfless Regret:
This made me so sad. ;_; Because I've never seen Madoka and I still managed to understand clearly what you were trying to show. Your scene selection really was just fabulous. It really brought out the mood and I just felt so sorry for the blue haired girl because she had such a shitty life. Maybe I will watch some Madoka just for her.

Anyway great work on all of them, I always love watching your edits! ^^

I am the cheese master of romance. And thanks so much for the comments on the other two. I agree that Ka-Ching was oddly paced at times, but country music is kind of hard [as I've learned] to edit with at times. But I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thanks about SR too! Actually the sharp cuts/fades was kind of difficult for me. I originally started this as a straight cut video, but almost all my testers said that I could use some fading [and I personally agreed with them], so I kind of took the liberty and melded them together. So I can see where some jarring bits could occur.

GMVs with older footage really haven't agefully graced. I originally thought I'd attempt this with 7, 8 AND 9, but 7's stuff looked like garbage. >_> And I'm glad you were able to withstand my obsession with Shania Twain. XD And thanks a lot for the comment on Selfless Regret. I'm glad the character parts are coming out well.

Ok, a lot of people have asked me about FF8. I took the qhimm tool and extracted the footage using that [snagging the high-res versions]. I can't take the credit for finding it though. When I was trying to rip the footage, I found a nifty guy on youtube that explained how to do it in his video description Boulotaur2024], who does a lot of HD game work for those interested.

Glad you enjoyed the other two. I highly suggest Madoka. AND it has a much happier ending than my video portrayed. XD
