Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Guitars, Guns, Aliens, and Love. + 1 Robot.

Post by joneevee » Thu Jul 15, 2010 10:39 pm

Hello everybody!
I just found your website while trying to find somewhere to post AMV's that wouldn't remove my song choice. YAY!
I haven't made many, but might do more after seeing all the guides here. This one is made from "FLCL" and set to "Beating Heart Baby" by Head Automatica. Hope you enjoy it, please leave some feedback if you'd like. Thanks.

For video info type your video code [vidid](video number here)[vidid]
Will update once I watch this.

Edit: sorry about that I didn't get the chance to comment on it last night.
As for the video, I'm assuming it's your first work using wmm?
Try to sync your video with the song, avoid using clips where there are any dialogs unless that's how you intent to have it that way.
Simply put, just work on your timing, and try to be creative in terms of using the right scenes, and syncing.
For your first video I will have to say this is actually not that bad at all.
I will recommend using Sony Vegas for your future projects, its easy to use, and offers wide range of effects and options.

Well that was really amusing! xD I liked it (and usually I don't like a lot of FLCL stuff. This one hooked me. xD)
You have a lot of potential. =] Nicely done!

Considering this is one of your firsts,it was nice. You also got some useful advice here. Its good that you're planning to read the guides too. With some time and personal experience, you'll get the hang of it,and improve more.
