I actually made a small video with the same sources about half a year ago, so it's kinda weird seeing it be done over and over.
But anyhow, as for the vid, I was disappointed :(

The beginning part with Zack's death scene was probably the only part that really had a connection with the song, and I still feel his death scene went on too long. The rest of the video, to me, just felt random. It looked like a bunch of slow, emotional scenes, just tagged on to one another.
I tried really hard to just look at the video like it was the only thing in the world, but I felt nothing. Here's a scene of Cloud fighting, a scene of him looking all down, etc. etc. It went on and on.

There was no impact at all. I especially felt that at 1:43. It was so flat for being one of the peaks of the song. The editing and clip choice made for the flatness. While I enjoy basic editing myself, and slow, smoothy-like transitions, it simply did not help. Especially when the clips might drag on too long. That wasn't a problem all of the time, but sometimes it was.

As someone who's seen the movie and played the game, I can understand how the song fits (also because I made a video with the two, so how could I not?). But you didn't really bring that out in your clip choice or editing.

I don't want you thinking I'm being biased because I've edited these sources as well, because I'm not. I am my harshest critic, so I don't think my video was near perfect or anything like that, and I wouldn't judge your video based on whether I thought mine was better or not. I hardly even remember it if I were to be honest. :P

But yeah, sorry. I didn't like it. :/ 2.5/5
