Minus one- I was at the CLAMP Ball with my wife. If I'd known we were going to take pictures and introduce ourselves and our track, we would have gone to the showing (even with it starting late) and then ducked out for a while for the Ball.mexicanjunior wrote:Here is a group shot of the NES creators that made it to AWA![]()

Oh yeah! How was the Clamp Ball? I'm VERY curious of what happened there. Is it like a formal dance?Ashyukun wrote:Minus one- I was at the CLAMP Ball with my wife. It was intended to be a formal dance where people either dressed up as their favorite CLAMP characters (mein Gott I don't think I've seen so many Persocom 'ears' in one place before) or just normal formal-wear. My wife and I opted for the normal formalwear. To me, it reminded me a lot of either HS or Junior High dances. Lots of people standing around, some people pigging out on the small buffet of appetizers, only a few people dancing. We were there for like 30-40 minutes I believe, and over the course of that time they played like 1 song that you could actually slow dance to (the whole point of a formal dance, IMO) and that was just as we were getting there and looking around. More people by far were kicking around the baloons they had on the floor than dancing at most points. I wasn't too thrilled with the selection of music, but maybe I'm just old- but "Baby Got Back" and "Ninja Rap" (from the TMNT movie) just don't have a place in a playlist for a formal ball IMO. Assuming they have it again next year, hint to all the single guys: There were far more females there than males.angelx03 wrote: Oh yeah! How was the Clamp Ball? It wasn't a total wash, there were some interesting (that should be Interesting) outfits to be seen and we had fun watching the other attendees and attempting to dance to the music they played, but I think we both agreed we would probably have been better off having skipped it and watching DDDR and all of the NES Project.

I'm really into any form of dance parties or something similar since I like to dance (even though I sort of suck at it

i've decide to give in and donate to the Org when i get a steady cash-flow, but there is one problem. I see that others have uploaded their videos to the Carrot, but on the "uplaod video" page it says this:
If this is not a problem then i'll upload mine, but I think Phade will not be happy about this.... any comments?
Don't these videos break the 2nd rule there?You may NOT upload the following:
* AMVs with excessive violence and/or sexual nudity
* Game-play music videos (you recorded yourself playing a video game)
* Live action/home videos
* Anime episodes/movies or other TV shows/movies
* Porn/hentai
* Warez/Crackz/Serialz
* Anything else that is not on the "you may upload" list
If this is not a problem then i'll upload mine, but I think Phade will not be happy about this.... any comments?

Only that he's likely known about the NES project ever since it first came into discussion on the forums, certainly had to have noticed it in theannouncement forum, possibly even saw it at AWA, or in some other way has to know it exists, and has not yet said or done anything.teknoboy wrote:i've decide to give in and donate to the Org when i get a steady cash-flow, but there is one problem. The videos are largely anime, really, the gameplay aspect is just extra stuffage. I think that rule is more for videos that consist of NOTHING BUT footage of recorded gameplay. For example, a video consisting of four-five-ish minutes of solid uncut playthrough of Chrono Trigger's final battle set to Metallica's Enter the Sandman.
