- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Thanks Kalium! You're a sweetie. *weeps tears of joy*
Bote: Yep, you pretty much nailed it. It only took so long since people kept dropping. But, I think things all worked out for the best in the end!

To be honest I didn't expect much out of it due to the fact I hate dbz, but I really enjoyed it
There were some parts where I first thought "damn, this goes too quick, they should've focused more on some scenes" but soon I realized that exactly this compensates the thing I hated DBZ the most for
This makes also a huge difference to most DBZ AMVs. So... goal reached
On the other hand, this is one of the most constant MEPs out there. If I were to chose something I don't like it'd be the first 2 or 3 tracks, the rest was really well edited and moreover at a constant pace. No track let the high energy go down.
Great job.

That's essentially how I felt about quite a bit of the video. In a way it felt like I was watching an AMV in fast foreward. This did do good things for the synch in many (but not all) cases, however, it left me feeling kind of empty in a weird sort of way.JCD wrote: There were some parts where I first thought "damn, this goes too quick, they should've focused more on some scenes"
I loved Dbz back when I watched it, though admittedly I couldn't stand some of the cheesiness, especially in the dub. Still, it's the anime that really got me into anime, and as such I was expecting to gain some sort of nostalgic happiness out of watching this. However, as the video went on, I realized I was getting no such feeling. This is probably because, in my honest opinion, you guys really WEREN'T focusing on dbz, not one bit. The focus of this video most definitely seems to be on the editting. Each track is synch overkill to the max, with little or no scenes unmanipulated throughout the entire 9 minutes. To me, at least, that implies a more superficial, eye candy, speed-oriented video. Plus I could go into hardcore fanboy mode and whine about the fact that the video just shows random clips of fighting like every other random action dbz vid out there instead of giving any sort of reason for anything going on, but given the fact that you were trying to compress EVERYTHING into a single vid, that's a somewhat unfair criticism.
I suppose my overall opinion of this is that it's a good video, just not the tribute to dbz I was really expecting. Good effort guys, and congrats on finally finishing it.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.
