Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nothing shall forstall my return.

To become the dew that quenches the land, To spare the sands, the seas, the skies, I offer thee this silent sacrifice.

I think I like this video more than I actually like it because of how much I love this game. In any case, I did enjoy it for the most part.
The video quality wasn't all that distracting but I did notice it. The sync kind of came and went, certain parts were spot on while you seemed a little off on others. It was kind of hard to get into this video, which may partly be the falt of the music. People who don't know the game and don't understand the lyrics might not get a whole lot out of this, which is a shame.

Even so, I liked it, but not nearly as much as some of your older videos. 3.5/5

Hmm? I wonder when we'll start seeing more P3 vids though....

Right, the first I have to say (Ties into our sync conversation >.>) is, cut the crap with the 5 frame cross-dissolves. They work here when you're changing scenes or comparing, because they make sense at that point. But when you're not, they look stupid, and take away the video's edge. Honestly, in my book, bad quality and stupid 5 frame dissolves do the same damage.

Besides that though, this had cool flow, cooler sync, and made me want to play the game. More than I already wanted to, that is >.>

Don't get stuck in the opening genre though if you're making a GMV. You can still do anything (Like Copycat :P)

Oh, and that logo at the beginning was pretty spiffy :O

I liked it. Well, i'm not a fan of it, true, but it was an okay video. Sync wise it was cool. I think the quality was okay, i don't know why the others bitch about it, and 20 mbs? - nice. Maybe you knew already that i hate japanese music, so i won't watch this much, but good work nevertheless.

lol well thats good to know really, I really preffer people to like the AMV more for what it is and not for what sources it uses ;)

yeah I agree with you on the synch, I just wanted to let it be more like an opening in certain parts (which mean less synch) and not a synch fest, didn't had enough footage to do that really and I wanted to do something a bit more coherent than just random clips lol. Lyrics don't fit 100% either so add that to the list :P, but yeah its a shame, and it is a shame that my music taste made it impossible for me to find a fitting song in english for this game :? (which was my original intention). Glad you liked it though and I know some of my older are way better, this was just to not lose the editing skills or whatever you want to call it (since I haven't editid since June-July).

we are the only ones so far on the org XD (the tube has a good amount already, mostly MADs though  ). Problem with this game is finding a song for it :/, you found one, a short one, but you found it lol. Thanks for the comment btw :D.

*points to the aclaration I made in the synch topic for the first part of this comment :P*
hahaha thanks Greg :D, and play the damn game!!, it has guns, a dog, JEZUZ, and a sexy blonde robot, what else can you ask for?
hahaha my original intention for this game wasn't an opening, but thats how things turned out  , I have in mind a third one but thats not for a game O:, problem with games to do longer stuff is the lack of intensity in the scenes/FMVs/gameplay for songs I like to use :/ (thats why I dropped the Zelda GMV in the end).
EDIT: exception is .hack//G.U., that has the right amount of intensity (and a lot of FMVs) I have always searched to make a longer GMV and maybe more than one GMV with it 8-)
oh and I blame Niwa for the logo :O, all of the studio members should use it if they want >.>.

thanks Kaxi :D, glad you liked it. I think I knew you hated japanese music when I made the first opening vid lol, sorry about that :(. Thanks for the feedback :)
