@Daisuke_Z
the start and the end made me feel strange sensations o.O"
Yeah! That´s what I wanted =D
the incredible thing is I don't like Marilyn Manson >_<
cool you enjoy(ed) it anyway! I heared such comment for one of my last videos. I think that such comments are always good. Sometimes I have the feeling that music makes sometimes too much in a video, but yeah it´s true that catchy songs go better most of the time.

@Katie:
that was interesting... im not usually a fan of this music, but i watched the whole thing from beginning to end...
Thank you for spending your time on watching this!

@DCG:
So what we have here is an attempt to make an epic video that doesn't succeed on all accounts.
Definatly true.
The content itself is pretty good but there wasn't nearly enough editing for 13 minutes of video. Most of what you had didn't really impress me too much, I was expecting some really crazy editing and storyline but I got distracted by the filters and changes in the song that it got kind of boring before I was half through. Still a pretty cool concept it just seems like the video is insisting upon itself. 3/5
Damn it. Yeah ok you hear MSI (I guess a lot) and so you´re used to more crazy shit, but that would be a bad excuse for myself. Maybe next time =/
I still think that some parts were crazy for me when I was editing. The Reign (I mean the scenes of the war) segment or the second cage half with live action or the room with the two monitors... or the Love for the Forbidden intro. It was challengeing and new to me. Nice experience and I learned a lot at least.

@ScorpionP:
Yeah sry for the typos and I´m glad you liked it.

Yeah man, I can tell you tried in this video it just didn't resonate with me as much as some other people. Probably partly due to that fact that I think Marilyn Manson is old bag for AMVs. This video was really well made for the most part and definitely shows some good progress on your part as an editor.

While it didn't leave me speechless it was defienietly a good thing to watch. It was edited well, and have srsly awesome mood, and not bad storyline. The idea itself, while it's not 100% original, since resembled Beowulfs "Dead to the world", still is fresh so I did enjoyed watching it.

What was the worst killer for this video were the black screen between the tracks. Firstly they were appearing for far too long, which distracts the viewer from the mood/storyline. Secondly they were appearing too abruptly. You just switched off the music, and create a complete pause - that killed the integrity between the parts. If you would make the music go slowly down, while mixing it with new track, and perhaps leaving some 10-20% opacity footage still on the screen it would imho feel a lot more connected.

While I am at the connection between the tracks - Love for the forbidden is kinda a dead end. While it have some connection to the previous track it's not mentioned at all in the introduction text of Iron messiah. You could have written something like "the strongest of those beats decided to oppose the mechanical god", or anything other that would connect them. You didn't and therefore it seems, that Iron messiah is a continuation of Cage, and Love for the forbidden is just some strange addition.

Last thing were the spelling errors, which were just a bit annoying, not enought to spoil the enjoyment though

All in all I like this vid.
4.5/5

The best definition for this should be something like... postapocalyptical epicness.
Really awsm job on the atmosphere :) I got chills on my spine at the end of the amv :) Details in the op ;)

Uhh Bauzi this was some serious stuff :D
You know that this kind of video is not my style, but i really liked some parts, for example the intro was great, i liked the in-between parts (the text looked great) and the outro was also good (but a little long, although the atmosphere of it was nice). The black pauses were a little long though.

Meh, I couldn't resist :/

Very disappointing.

NOT.

That was ridiculously awesome. This is what I was hoping it would be. Because to be honest, the 2 segments you had me beta were far from the best (Love for The Forbidden for the reasons you know, and The "Break out of Cage" one had it's moments, and no real flaws, but mostly was unengaging). The others KICKED ASS. I'm not gonna say that much here, because I wanna write a really long op for this, but the editing at times is just unmatched by anything I've seen this year. And some ideas... Oh man.

I also have to thank you for making me discover the heart of Marilyn Manson. Basically, two weeks ago, I thought he was a rapist. Then I saw "Bowling For Columbine" last week, and he gave some of the smartest comments of the movie. And here, your story showed me what his music is really about. There's a message, and there's warmth, and your scene selection just amplified it so much. I can pretty much honestly say that is the first horror AMV-or movie for that matter- that really moved me, shook me to the core. But with the final segment, you didn't bring me down. You lifted me up :)

Now the bad : I know you were sick of it, but if you'd showed me the full version, I would have FORCED you to shelve it and properly finish it when you were up for it. The typos. The awkward transitions. The small editing flaws. Love for the Forbidden not being placed at the right point AT ALL (Would have been perfect before the robot takeover, as a REASON for inventing them in the first place). And the final segment, your climactic moment, is kinda rendered less powerful by the fact there are FREAKING CREDITS in my face when I watch it. Really, they could have been smaller :/

I know right now, there's probably few changes you'd want to make. But a few months from now, you may have some regrets. Remember though : It took Pwolf "Midnight" to make "Mitternacht" :wink:

Seams that I have a bad taste, because I thought it would be a pretty good idea to give the viewer time to rest and let him overthink a bit what he saw. I really never heard a singel good comment about it. Only bad ones and not only a few. Bauzi made bullshit =D

The idea with the 10-20% opacity footage sounds great. It would give a nice amount of mood.

Even better idea. To bad I didn´t thought about it =/

@Funky
I´m glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the nice op!

Wooohoooo! Someone likes the intro, but I didn´t heard complains about it either. Well ok... Mac said that he don´t want to watch it again in his whole life xD
Thanks

That´s why I love his music, because there is a message behind everything and he says what a lot of people think, but don´t dare to say loud (or... dare to think about?). Oh yeah... that´s how I wanted to effect everybody with this amv and hey it seams that I turned you into a fan, right? I´m glad that I brought to you or to more people the otherside of Marilyn Manson. The site behind the titles: freak, the antichrist (funny that he´s not, but just more unreligous), god of fuck, the shock rocker...
...other stuff + the huge credits
If they were smaller, you couldn´t (try, hehehe) to read them.
I know right now, there's probably few changes you'd want to make. But a few months from now, you may have some regrets. Remember though : It took Pwolf "Midnight" to make "Mitternacht"
Have I ever mentioned that I really hate "Mitternacht"? No? Let´s see... I work on the current project now and I think that I´ll run out of discspace. Maybe I´ll make some changes, but I don´t think so. If I make something like a second part, I´ll let you beta the complete shit. Promise.

And thanks to guy07 for the posstive quick comment =D

I downloaded this awhile ago, but I just now got around to watching it. >.> Anyway, this isn't really my type of video at all (as you probably would have guessed...), but I thought it was really well edited throughout. Not something I will watch much due to me not liking horror videos all that much, but still, nice work. The concept was interesting, and the editing was effective. Nice job, Bauzi. :)

I don´t want to push this thread for just two posts so I take my chance while it´s still at the top to thank.

@code chrono: Do you maybe have a little comment for me? Would be cool, but thanks for downloading.

@Danie: Nice to see you hear. I thought that it´s not your stuff, but I´m sure (or better: I hope) you´ll enjoy the next one ;P
I´m glad you still think that the idea and editing is nice.
